Reasons For Participation
In Building The Turtle Lodge
We invite the participation of individuals and communities, to be part
of the process of building and working at The Turtle Lodge.
The programs a The Turtle Lodge will reintroduce
the traditional, ancient values universal to all human beings, which brings
peace, comfort and love. First Nations prophecies tell us that the uncovering
of the truth will require the participation of all races of people joining
in one spirit. The motivation of this effort will be love.
In ancient times, mutual support groups among First
Nations people shared hunting, gathering, construction and the shifting
of villages to different locations.
We are calling out to you and your community
for assistance in bringing forth this vision, a vision that belongs to
all of us.
Need For Materials & Funds To Complete
The Turtle Lodge
Many individuals in the year 2002 contributed significantly of their
time, skills and labour to build the main structure of The Turtle Lodge.
While there are many skilled people who can provide the skills to complete
the construction of The Turtle Lodge and related support facilities,
materials (or funds for the materials) is insufficient and lacking.
Specific Use Of Funds & Materials To Complete
The Turtle Lodge
Consistent with the work planned to be completed at The Turtle Lodge
(also outlined in the web page titled Building The Turtle Lodge), the
funds received will be used to purchase materials for the work listed
below. The labour to install and build is provided on a volunteer basis
by people from the Sagkeeng First Nations and surrounding communities
and many skilled people from other parts of Turtle Island (North America)
and elsewhere.

Making Your Contribution
Meaningful
Some individuals and communities have chosen to make their contribution
more meaningful, by specifying that their funds and materials
be used to build specific portions of The Turtle Lodge.
